8:15am.      There will be no trading for me this morning as I am going to take myself off to the quiet atmosphere that is the Sailor’s Reading Room just up the beach from my cottage here in Southwold. My goal is to finish the addition to my ‘starter’ system (Trade With A Day Job) I am adding two extra strategies to the trading manual and I have promise to have it ready for my customers by this afternoon.

The markets this morning maybe a bit quiet as most traders will be waiting for the US Core Retail Sales numbers before they get into the market. I will report back later if I do any trading later this afternoon.

6:30pm.        I managed to get the addition to my trading system finished earlier this afternoon – and I made my way back here just before 5 o’clock to do some trading with that very system. I had a good signal at 5:20pm and a few minutes later I was in with a long trade. Within 45 minutes I was then out of the market with a small profit of +25 pips so rounding off another successful week in the markets. Time for a quick shower and then out on the town with some friends who have come up for the evening.

Daily Target Reached ?  YES  (+25 pips)       I traded for about an hour this evening.
