I woke at 7 o’clock this morning and it looks like it is going to be a wonderful day today – the sun is gradually emerging from the early morning clouds. At 7:30, I got my pushbike out and went for a long ride along the sea wall/beach. No trading today, as it is the first Friday of the month and that means 2 things ~ U.S. employment figures are out at lunchtime (UK) and also the markets tend to tread water all morning waiting for the announcement, so there is usually not much scope for grabbing a profit out of the market.

I am going to concentrate on customer emails this morning, then a nice walk along the beach at lunchtime for a bite to eat at the Lord Nelson.  Susie is coming up this afternoon for a few hours to catch up on business – and then I have 4 weekend guests arriving at tea-time

I have just done my accounts for the week and my trading since Monday has produced 218 pips – and that’s for very part-time hours, in-between moving house and sorting things out up here in East Anglia
