9:55am  ~  As my (youngest) son and I had a reasonably early end to last night – although we did watch the excellent “Wolf Creek” on LoveFilm after supper – I did get up quite early this morning, so I was here in my home office above the garage at 6:30am watching my usual 4 charts for potential trade set-ups with my trendFX collection of strategies.

The first set-up that came to my notice was a possible ‘long’ trade on my favourite index (S&P500)  just after 7 o’clock and I am still in that particular position with a profit of +75 pips so far, although momentum is slowing slightly.  I also took a ‘long’ GOLD trade just after 9 o’clock and I’ll report back soon about it, I am still in that position as well (+60 so far)

A EUR/USD trade I took around the same time as the GOLD one is doing ok, so I’m going to give all of them another 15 minutes or so and then probably close them off as the scores so far are way above my daily target. Let you know what happens in a short while.

11:25am  ~  Well I have just hit the ’100 pip’ level for profit on my S&P500 trade so I’ve  just closed it off. The other two trades have faired ok as well, so they’re finished too, my profit on the GOLD trade is +63 and EUR/USD equals +46 pips. A nice overall finish to the morning’s trading and now I am off for a walk into town  -  it’s only a 5 minute jaunt – I have some stuff to buy before I am out to Portugal  tomorrow evening, I’ve got to sort out all the legal stuff for the purchase of a house out there. Then back here and I shall be off  at 3pm on a short (10 mile) cycle ride but that’s after lunch at Nandos with some friends.

8:15pm  ~    Just to give you a quick update, I managed to sit down here in the kitchen at 5:30pm to watch for possible signals on my “evening” system.  I entered a trade at 7:40 (long) and a few seconds later a trendFX trade triggered as well, so I had a second position in the same market, which often happens if I am watching the same chart using two different strategies. Anyway, I am now out of the market, my 1st trade managed +22 pips and the 2nd one gave me +30 pips, so all in all a very profitable day……
