9:00am.    Not a particular early start for me today, I ‘ve only just got up and come down to the kitchen to have a spot of breakfast (poached eggs/smoked salmon)  I have a meeting with my accountant in 30 minutes (he’s doing a home visit) and then I am off to a friend’s farm where we have some clay-pigeon shooting organised.  I will report back later regarding my “Evening” trading session.

8:10pm.   I got back here at 4 o’clock and had a very late ‘lunch’ and sat down just before 5pm in front of my S&P chart to watch for potential trade signals on my “Trade With A Day Job” evening system. As soon as I saw my chart I could see a nice trade signal starting to develop and at 5:16pm I was in a ‘long’ trade. There was a nice established trend in place, so I just stayed with it and rode it up to 8 o’clock and came out of the market a few minutes ago with a total of +110 pips – a nice evening’s work.

I’m off out now with the girlfriend to try some Lebanese food just down the road from here.
