It was not a cold start to the day, so I started at 8 o’clock with an invigorating cycle ride, and was ready for some trading by 10:00am after a 14 mile ride.

There was not a lot going on in the markets this morning , my first hint of a signal (with my “Any-Time” system) came up at 11 o’clock and I was in a LONG trade (USD/JPY) at 11:05.  The trade lasted 70 minutes and gave me an opening profit of +10 pips. Just as I came out of that trade I had my next signal (USD/JPY again) and I was back in a SHORT trade at 12:33. Only 10 minutes afterwards, I entered my 3rd trade (S&P500) and they both ended around 1:30 with +10 and +30 pips respectively.

I did say yesterday that I would trade all day, but 1) I was happy with my +50 pip profit, and  2) an old friend has just popped round, so we are both disappearing for a motorbike ride this afternoon.  No trading this evening for me I think…….
