A normally early start for me this morning, but I must admit that the motivation to go on an invigorating cycle ride does wane slightly when the dark, cold winter mornings arrive. Around this time of the year, I tend to do my daily exercise at midday instead.

I was in the kitchen with my laptop at 8am, and it was lovely and quiet for that time of the morning. I spotted at trade signal from my ‘Free’ system at 8:30 and by 8:44 I was in a short trade on the S&P500 index. By 10:18am I was out of the trade with a profit of +26 pips, just around my ‘daily’ pips target.  The rest of the day was spent answering emails, and some general business admin that happens at the end of the month. I also had a 7 mile cycle ride at 3pm

I was back in my office at 5pm to trade my “Evening” system and I entered my first (and only) trade at 5:20pm and I managed my normal profit of +20 pips by just before 7pm.

My day’s total earnings came to +46 pips.
